ATTACHMENT 15

GREEN VALLEY TRANSPORTATION manages a diversity of information systems to '~get the job done". These systems have been in place and continue to be fine tuned and modified to meet the needs of our major customer, the Department of Defense. We currently utilize and have experience in the following systems in order to provide the highest level of service:

A. Current Operating Capabilities and their Utilization

Cell/Radio phones in all trucks with 48 state direct connect - 24/7 nationwide communication capabilities for Operations and Customers
24/7 Toll-Free Dispatch/Customer Service Phone number - After hour's connection to private cell phones for appropriate personnel.
24/7 FAX~ E-Mail communication with customers and business partners
QUALCOM Satellite units in all power units - Utilized past 7 years for security tracking and communication. Provides Security connect with DOD/DTTS while under Transportation Security Service Freight and provides communication pick-up, status, and delivery information to an in house system for electronic transfer to Power Track, GTN, and web based tracking availability. Additionally, this system is used for immediate and specific business communication between drivers and company personnel regarding operations and maintenance.
SKYBITZ - Satellite tracking units added to trailers for nationwide and immediate tracking capabilities. System certified under the HERO program so as not to interfere with the integrity of the freight.
POWER TRACK - GREEN VALLEY TRANSPORTATION was the initial prototype carrier to test and utilities this system in conjunction with DDJC, and has been on-line and participating since its inception. Power Track is now required under TTC for all billing and resolution of BOL rating discrepancies with shippers, and records delivery status for performance metrics. Additionally, EFT agreements are on file with US Bank and our local banks for payment of funds.
DTOD/Defense Table of Official Distances - Commercially utilized as “PC-Miler" determines mileage for all rating under TTC and DOD services.
System in oar computers and updated regularly. Includes Hazmat routing And mileage, which may not always be the most direct route due to routing Regulations that govern this freight.
GTN: GREEN VALLEY TRANSPORTATION was again the initial test carrier for this program on the West Coast. Delivery data is entered at the same time as the Power Track information and our VAN, Kleinsehmitd Inc., translates inf. to DOD systems. Requirements under this solicitation for data entry within 12 hours of occurrence and 4 hrs for expedited service have been underway throughout our service under TTC I.
Electronic Imaging: All of our documents are scanned electronically and held in appropriate files for viewing, retrieving, or sending to customers via email/FAX, or web based systems. This system interfaces with TRUCKPRO, our existing software and was developed by Liberty Systems in conjunction with our software provider, VARIPRO.
Software Systems Interface: “TruckPro” is the transportation software utilized by GREEN VALLEY TRANSPORTATION, and is designed and maintained by VARIPRO, our software systems provider based locally in Lodi, California. VARIPRO works closely with our DOD qualified VAN, KLEINSCHMIDT INC., to handle all technical interfaces with the Department of Defense systems. Both complains worked with Power Track and GTN software providers during the test phase of these systems on behalf of GREEN VALLEY in order to insure a successful end product. Both have a history of working relationships with and an understanding of DOD transportation information systems in order to provide us with updates and new ways of communicating necessary information. Additionally, VARIPRO maintains the retention of documentation for any downtime and provides immediate service if needed. Again, a long-time close working relationship with experienced business partners’ results in the optimum working systems. Their location is approximately 30 miles from our central terminal in Tracy, CA for immediate support.
Web Based Tracking/In Transit Visibility: GREEN VALLEY TRANSPORTATION has in place the capability of web based tracking, based on the Bill of Lading Number. Information is entered under the requirements of TTC II, C.4.30.2, providing p/u, delivery, and changes in the mode of transportation. If only TCN numbers are available, we will work with the shipper to determine the CBL# and then provide the information needed. Additionally, we can provide information within moments of a call via our scanning retention of CBLs, and provide information and/or del/very information verbally, by FAX or E-Mail during working hours. Operations personnel have satellite-tracking capabilities after hours for emergency situations. Immediate tracking is consistently available via on board tracking capabilities and 24/7 direct connect radio phones.
AIT (Automatic ID Technology: Currently, GREEN VALLEY TRANS is not utilizing AIT (bar codes). It is available in our software system, but because we are basically a truckload carrier moving preloaded and/or sealed loads, this is not a system we are utilizing at this time.
Human Information Systems (HIS): We encourage and support all our drivers and company personnel in their communications with customers on daily basis. This develops partnerships in transportation and allows for the exchange of ideas, assistance and support to meet the mission of getting the freight to our war fighters, our true customers. This occurs at the management level as well, because our customers utilize the direct and regular access to ownership and management by phone, fax and emails. We think these interactions are the real strength of information systems and a high priority for GREEN VALLEY TRANSPORTATION.
